
- When do I need to make an appointment?
- All portrait sessions are "by appointment only." Even if you are only coming to pick up prints, you should still call beforehand to make sure we are not out of the studio.
- What should I wear to my portrait session?
- Solid colors are best. Families look best when they match clothing.
- What time of day is best to shoot pictures outdoors?
- Morning and evening are the best times for outdoor photos.
- Is Joel a certified professional photographer? What does this mean?
- Yes. The Professional Photographers of America use a system of "degrees" to rate achievement within their ranks. The "Certified Professional Photographer" degree notes technical and artistic achievement by written examinations and submission of images to a panel of judges. Fewer than 3% of the nation's photographers hold the coveted "CPP" degree.
- What is your turnaround time?
- Your order should be ready in four to six weeks from the time you place your order.
- What is your contact information?
- Will my photos remain on file for later ordering?
- We try to keep your images as long as possible. But, we cannot guarantee availability more than 90 days after your session. Ask for details on how you can recieve all your images as high-resolution digital files that you may store in a safe place.
- Will I have to pay sales tax?
- How long do I have to view my images online?
- Online images will auto-expire 10 days after being uploaded. After they are taken offline, they can be reuploaded for a fee of $20. You also have the option of coming back to the studio and viewing them at no extra charge.
